To receive the discounted rate of $169, you must tell the hotel that you are part of the Black Doctoral Network.

TRANSPORTATION IS PROVIDED FOR HOTEL GUESTS!

For those who have reserved a room at the Courtyard by Marriott in the BDN hotel block, we will be providing you with transportation to and from LMU. The shuttle will pick up at the hotel at 7:30am and 8:00am. If you miss the shuttles, you will need to get to LMU on your own. It is 10 minutes away from the hotel. At the end of the conference, the shuttle will pick up from LMU at 6:00pm and 6:20pm. For additional questions regarding the shuttle, please ask the hotel staff.

Once you’re in town, navigating the city is a breeze. With a speedy rail system, multiple bike-sharing and ride-sharing services, and bus routes that traverse the region, you’ll have plenty of ways to get you from point A to point B, C and D.
