Founded in 2012, the Black Doctoral Network (BDN) was created to strengthen and expand the pipeline of advanced-degree scholars across disciplines, institutions, and industries. Since then, BDN has evolved into a national membership organization that connects scholars, students, and professionals dedicated to mentorship, applied research, and workforce innovation.
