    The Public Health Department at St. Catherine University invites applications for a full time, 9-10 month tenure track teaching and directing position in the MPH in Global Health program. Rank and salary commensurate with experience.

    Responsibilities The selected candidate will have responsibilities in teaching, research, and service. This position is also looking for a Director of the MPH in Global Health, reporting to the Department Chair. With the administrative responsibilities, the teaching load is 3 sections (9 credits) per academic year. The director will provide leadership for the advancement of the program, daily operations, and contribute to the CEPH accreditation self-study. Applicants will be considered who have a background in public health or related field, who have expertise in quantitative skills, and able to teach courses such as the Fundamentals of Epidemiology and Biostatistics and Quantitative Data Analysis (using Stata). Course are taught at the graduate level in hybrid or online format.

    Applicants should demonstrate excellence in teaching and a commitment to university service. The selected candidate will be responsible for advising graduate students and expected to engage in service activities with colleagues, the department, school, campus, community, and professional organizations.

    The department is comprised of diverse faculty members, reflecting our diverse student body. Applicants should be prepared to work collaboratively to support students who are passionate about social justice and plan to use their training to lead and influence.

    Required qualifications: Applicants are required to have an earned doctorate degree; have college level teaching experience; experience advising and engaging students; have had leadership roles in an academic department or in the field; and have experience in global health. Preferred candidates will have a doctorate in public health or related field; an MPH or Master degree in a related field; have taught in an MPH program; have taught online and hybrid formats; have an active global health research agenda; have experience with CEPH accredited program; and have directed academic programs.
