Overview of Real-World Analytics & Data Science (RADS) Overview
RADS is the BMS center of excellence for real-world research and analytics. The division utilizes various real-world data resources to conduct real-world research studies for regulatory use and partners with HEOR, clinical development, patient safety, and medical affairs departments. RADS uses EMR, claims, genomics, and social media data to accelerate clinical development and maximize the potential of BMS products. Real-world data analyses are used to characterize patient populations, inform clinical trial design, and examine the effectiveness and safety profile of treatments. While upholding a patient-centric mindset, RADS cultivates a diverse and inclusive culture through process excellence, leadership development and team learning.
