    Description of the Workshop:

    Networking can often be uncomfortable, awkward, and even intimidating, but if you can listen, you can network. This workshop will provide an overview of several aspects of networking: network roles and typology, identifying key contacts, building connections, nurturing relationships, and career outcomes of targeted networking. After attending, participants should be able to confidently approach and connect with new people, develop meaningful relationships that drive career growth and utilize targeted networking strategies to achieve specific goals.

    Presenter Bios:

    Rohan is a lifestyle coach and business consultant working primarily with entrepreneurs, startups, and established small businesses. Rohan is also a 3rd-year doctoral student in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources (OBHR) at Purdue University, where his research thematically focuses on people entering contexts where they've been historically underrepresented. He specializes in unobtrusive methods, among other unique forms of data collection and analysis. Prior to this, he served as a US Marine and is currently a volunteer firefighter/medic. His undergraduate degree is in Special Operations & Low-Intensity Conflict with a Master’s in Intelligence Collections & Analysis.
