Description of the Workshop:

This workshop equips doctoral students with strategies to stay motivated, resilient, and engaged throughout their academic journey. Using Dr. Keith Adams' "Stay CONNECTED" framework, participants will learn techniques to enhance personal well-being, promote self-directed learning, and build a strong support network. The session provides practical steps to help students excel both academically and professionally, preparing them to navigate the challenges of their studies and future careers with confidence.

Presenter Bios:

Dr. Keith Adams is the President and Founder of the CKA SAVE Project, focused on empowering student-athletes. With over 30 years of experience, he is a leading advocate for their academic and personal growth. Dr. Adams holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and has conducted research on the relationship between academic and athletic motivation among NCAA Division I athletes. He is the author of *Finding the Balance: My Personal Journey to Academic and Athletic Success*. A former high school teacher, coach, and Athletic Director, Dr. Adams now concentrates on supporting students and stakeholders in school programs while frequently speaking and writing on sports ethics and the educational impact of athletics.
