The purpose of this workshop is to facilitate doctoral students’ exploration of the academic job market by enhancing their awareness of various institutional classifications and what these classifications mean for the professional life of faculty. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to: articulate what they want in a faculty experience, access the tools necessary to research faculty positions and institutions, and effectively evaluate job advertisements for professional fit.
