Short Description of the Workshop:
The purpose of this webinar is to engage the audience in a discussion on the principles and strategies for getting manuscripts published. Although sometimes treated synonymously, academic and scholarly writing do have some variations in their purposes and characteristics. Having an understanding about the distinctions between academic and scholarly writing will also be the focus of the webinar. The presenter will engage the audience in the discussion of strategies and principles relevant to producing a successful paper for publication. This webinar will be an engaging and interactive one. My hope is that participants will walk away knowing the principles, strategies, and best practices in getting their research ideas published in refereed journals. This webinar is designed for undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty and other working professionals with interest in publishing their research ideas.
