One-Year Visiting Assistant Professorship in Neuroscience at Bates College

    The Neuroscience Program at Bates College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professorship in cognitive neuroscience to begin August 1, 2020. Candidates with demonstrated success in teaching and supporting underrepresented and marginalized student populations are strongly encouraged to apply. We are especially interested in candidates whose work involves human subjects with potential clinical applications. ABD will be considered, Ph.D., preferred. The successful candidate would teach Cognitive Neuroscience with labs, Medical Psychology, and electives such as Affective Neuroscience or similar content within the candidate’s expertise. Bates values innovative, inclusive pedagogy and active scholarship, and we seek applicants who can successfully integrate undergraduates in their research. Dedicated laboratory facilities are provided for this position.
